Beginning to Strain your Brain?

Busy week for Questec. I spoke with the company yesterday and was told that they are presenting their technology with Live Motion Company (European Partners from Germany), at this years IBC (International Broadcasters Conference) in Amsterdam, Holland. Looks like a big push for Golf and Tennis in Europe for next year. From what I understand
they have been invited by Silicon Graphics to use SGI's demo platforms for two hours each day. WOW! SGI has one of the largest setups at IBC and NAB (National Association of Broadcasters) each year. Companies pay huge $ for this right, SGI is paying for this one. "IS SOMETHING UP?"
Is QuesTec's digital stream that attractive? What goes across the internet integrates and indexes nicely with both analog and digital video. SGI seems to be concentrating its efforts on video servers and storage, as well as broadband distribution. Who buys this, teams,
leagues, Television Networks and Internet Broadcasters. On top of that Questec has recently beome a VAR (Value Added Reseller) for SGI. That means something QuesTec has goes into something SGI manufactures before it is sold. This fits into my Tivo posts from last month.

I have also noticed that SGI has made a small but definitive appearance in several of our last press releases. "What's up with that?" When you ask the company about it all they say is that it is a long and great relationship. Both companies reference each other on their web sites. May be a strong relationship, but it appears that something has changed.

One thing you can say for this little QSTI, they sure know how to leverage their technology. The big picture here gets bigger and brighter everyday.

I'm still digging on this one. I like the prospects here.
