Here's a thoughtful post from Ragging Bull
Magnitude Network deal. I searched posts from 8/31 and 9/1 since I had been away last week and didn't see any response to the Magnitude Network contract. There had been a lot of talk in the past about what, if any, value the CMGI connection would have for MSGI. Some speculated that they had just used MSGI as a convenient dumping ground for CMG Direct and had no intention of assisting MSGI to become an internet powerhouse. I think the deal with Magnitude shows that this wasn't the case. It's DW's synergy philosophy put into practice. The day after the MSGI contract was announced Magnitude announced a contract with Microsoft MSN. Won't MSGI be reaping the benefits of that connection through their contract with Magnitude? Isn't this the direction we want to see them moving in? Since Magnitude is connected to CMGI's Icast it would be positioning MSGI to be in on the ground floor of what could become the largest broadcasting internet company. I was excited about being an MSGI stockholder for the first time in a long while when I read the news about the Magnitude deal and don't understand why it hasn't even received a comment on this thread. Am I missing something about the potential benefits of this deal for MSGI? If someone has a different take on it I'd aappreciate hearing it.

BTW, I'm a first time poster and long time lurker.
