Hi Steve, great work as usual. i would like you to comment on 3 items:
#1 would you re-visit BIDS and let me know how I(ie you) would go about valuing it. It seems to be all out-ahead stuff (nothing new) but I made money on it and I still like it because of the deep pockets of its strategic partners.
#2. PVTL is not internet, but do you have any thoughts on that area of technology( customer relational software)?
#3. I read some comments attributed to Robert Tercek, over at Columbia Tristar TV. he speaks positively about the near term prospects for broadband wireless programming. Do you have any current pix in this area?
TIA. Don.

Steve, I don't know if you do IPOs. But I am going to give it a shot.

Vitria - this is one of these "processware" companies, I never liked those, but maybe they will repackage into b-2-b?

E.piphany - a Kleiner deal, this is a data mining thing (actually pretty useful) but in the past too much customization meant not enough leverage?

Business software is back and I don't want to blind myself to how you guys are looking at these companies.

Also I see you are in SF now, a lot of us live there, can you post where you will be signing any books if possible? Thanks!

Steve - Thanks for the great info. You're the reason I was in PCNTF (one of my few winners to balance the list of losers). Great articles and tips. Keep it up!
