Matt

I am testing out the demo from cqg.com Best I have seen yet for trading software. It does not have order entry built in and I do not know if any brokerage offers cqg in a package.

Also have the fibinoccitrader.com demo but having a bit o trouble setting it up. Have not had time to call customer support but I understand they are excellent.

Matt,

Two other options to consider:

> CyberTrader from CyberCorp - Direct competitor to RealTick3. Integrated package. Interesting tools, charting about the same as RealTick3 plus very good direct order entry.

Price is about the same as RealTick3

> CyberX from CyberCorp plus QCharts from Quote.com - CyberX provides very good direct order entry (pretty much the same as CyberTrader) including direct ECN orders to Island and Attain, and other ECNs throught SNet. They also include streaming, level 1 quotes and pretty good account management tools. Executions are fast, cancellations are extremely fast. QCharts provides streaming Level 1 and Level II quotes, charting and TA. VERY good charts, easy to use and reliable data feeds. Their data feed has had some problems recently which they have aggressively fixed. But, even with the data problems, they are still much better than other data vendors.

Price for CyberX: Datafeed is free, trades are $14.95 per trade for any number of trades.

Price for QCharts: $80/month or $100/month, plus exchange fees (which are about $60/month with Nasdaq Level II).

CyberX + QCharts is my platform. I played RHAT yesterday several times in the early morning. Even with this stock and market, some executions (including confirmation) were about 5-6 seconds, all were under 15 seconds. Cancellations (I had several when I missed the bid or ask) were about 2-3 seconds.

I like this combination very much. Gives me the tools that I need and the cost is reasonable.

Good luck in your search.

Regards,

Dan.
