Domestic investors will soon get to taste the country's first .com issue. After taking the trading rings and brokers' screens in New York. London and the Nasdaq by storm .the .com revolution is gathering momentum in India, albeit slowly and in a small way.

The Mumbai based S Kumars .Com Ltd, of the half century old S Kumars group, is offering 7,50,000 shares at par aggregating Rs 75 lakh through its maiden public offering. After the over whelming success of at least a dozen software offerings in the primary market in recent times, this will be the first .com issue to hit the market.

S Kumars .Com has already filed the draft offer document with the Securities and Exchange Board of India. The issue is being lead managed by Fedex Securities. The other .com issue that is reported to be in the pipeline is by the Bangalore based Planetasia.com.
