to select all the .TXT files there,

mr.mark,Afga PhotoLook came with my scanner. When I scan a Page of text my options to save are *.bmp(much too large text on other end when e-mailing) or *.tif. Still about 1mb file. Text is OK on receiving end. A *.jpg photo is about 15kb.

Is there a way to scan & e-mail text in a *.txt or something that doesn't create a 1mb per page file to e-mail? Maybe save the scan to MS Word, WordPerfect and convert it when attaching to e-mail?(i'm wearing my sign still,<g>)
