Mshater - thanks for your message.

I assume you are referring to CIOs when you use the term "pointy hairs". Despite whether or not they are truly idiots, they make the decisions. And while I have done no formal study on CIO impressions of NT - I have talked with quite a few CIOs and have heard very favorable comments on NT.

You see, a CIO of a Fortune 500 company does not want to be on the bleeding edge - they view it as too risky. And I think that many CIOs may view Linux as still being on the bleeding edge - it doesn't matter whether this view is correct or not.
