Bill, I did not think you thought that of me either but it was just a convenient place for me to throw that out and clear the air. The moral issue is a complex one and deserves discussion but my time is limited so I try to limit the number of topics that I participate in. The safe environment for gays is most important to me so that is why I comment on that one most. My comments on the bible are related to the safe environment because some read the bible literally and think it is ok to kill in the name of God. Hence we get people that want to kill homosexuals because the bible says it is an abomination. Although no one on this thread would do that maybe my bringing the problem to light will inspire them to support candidates and/or legislation that helps create a safe environment for all.
