You are applying the human understanding of sense to the actions and beliefs of God. This is no more than the traditional answer of religious figures when somebody points out that their dogma makes no sense: "just have faith". Well until someone points out how this was supposed to benefit these beloved creations, I won't have faith. Until someone explains why an omnipotent God who could have redeemed humanity by wishing it done needed to hang somebody up on a piece of wood, I won't have faith. I am applying the human understanding of sense to a human mythology, and to a construct which seems to me to be a cruel and vicious one. That is why humans have an understanding of sense. I have it, and I'm going to use it, not suspend it when it suits the convenience of priest or preacher.
