Petro-Pete, I have heard the same thing, also from a very reliable source. I wasn't going to say anything on the public thread, but since you brought the subject up... ggg My source tells me that they are way beyond "close to a deal". Berkley was waiting for positive indication from Cal Canal that would give them the confidence to go shopping. The comments made by Mike Rose in response to the VSP shot last weekend are certainly positive. Apparently, the deal will be announced early next week. 0.8 BKP shares for each WML share puts WML at around $13/share. Yahhooo! Happy trading. S&P

Petro - Pete, If I am so fortunate for you to be right on WML I will not stay around for the tender. I bought WML for a reduced risk spec play on ELH as I already had PYR. I will sell and move on to possibly ELK. As for info - I started with Eland Jennings and then when I saw that WML was willing to sell production to stay in the game I jumped in. Words mean little - actions speak volumes. Then as time progressed WML languished - finally moved some with Slave Point. To me the data lead to an obivous conclusion - my processor upstairs may be old but sometimes it can see a baseball bat before it hits. So who knows - if the gas is there at Cal Canal all of these gyrations will mean nothing. I have waited almost a year - what is a few more weeks. Bob PS: I also have Solana and lo and behold they bought into Cal Canal today. I had Curlew Lake and lo and behold they bought into Ekho. Maybe my time has come.
