Since there hadn't been a post since July 19th until today, here's some more news from ITSI that was announced on Aug. 12th....again for those who may have missed it: International Lottery & Totalizator Systems Signs Contract Worth US$ 4 Million CARLSBAD, Calif., Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- INTERNATIONAL LOTTERY & TOTALIZATOR SYSTEMS, INC. (OTC Bulletin Board: ITSI) announced today that the Company was awarded a contract by long-time customer AB Trav och Galopp (ATG) of Sweden for additional DATAMARK Flipper(R) terminals and related spares. The contract has a total value of more than US$ 4 million. Delivery of the terminals will begin in the fourth quarter of 1999. "We are proud to be awarded this contract with ATG, the delivery of which will mark 20 years as exclusive terminal supplier to one of the premier wagering organizations in Europe," said ILTS President Mark Michalko. "We have enjoyed a long working partnership with ATG, and we look forward to a continued strategic partnership as they expand the scope of their wagering operations." ATG, which has been an ILTS customer since 1980, provides totalizator service for every track in Sweden and operates an off-track betting network of more than 2,000 outlets. In addition to selling horse racing bets, the off-track agencies sell railway and event tickets through the terminal network. The new terminals will be used to expand this multi-purpose network.
