Lew, first according to my info that the Mesa and Gemini are separate areas (Gemini is east of Mesa).

Second, AOW's deals with Ultra were small deals from what I remember. (I can't confirm with my notes at the moment though) but I do recall that AOW's farm in's were not that big. The original deals required well's to be drilled before additional interests were earned which I don't believe was fully done. (I could be wrong though - can someone confirm?)

Third the $200 million you mention is outrageous given AOW's small farm-in interest -- that would be like calling Ultra a 5-10++ billion dollar company. I have not seen the details of the suit but would think the general market has a better idea about the potential downside risk. Clearly the market does not see alot of downside risk. I agree that losing a suit that costs Ultra any amount would not be could, but it is premature to say that they are going to lose without the facts being presented.

cheers,
riker
