think you all need to read up on Convergenet's technology and their stage of product development. they've already completed the testing of product prototypes. prototypes are already built. converging those products with Dell's line and building the products for resale will take significantly less time that people here are thinking. during the transition they'll be doing this. $.01 at most for one quarter after the initial charge. it could possibly add nearly $700 million in revenue over the next nine months. higher margin line becomes accretive after the first $75 million in sales. where's your charges being resurrected when few employees at convergenet are mainly R&D. this is a good deal when you expect that Dell was already growing expansively in the storage arena at 70%+
