Mshater - you're making some exaggerated claims for which you have no support. Certainly some CIOs are "good politicians" and certainly some lie. But you are wrong in grouping CIOs and other executives together and making such general claims.

If you are truly a proponent of Linux and are working to promote usage of Linux, I encourage you to recognize these people as human beings like yourself - they get up every day, they go to work, they do their jobs, they go home - some are dishonest and crooked - some are honest and hardworking - some do their jobs very well - and others do their jobs poorly. But you will never convince someone of your views on technology unless you respect their opinions and treat them as an equal.

I make these statements with the assumption that you are not opposed to capitalism and free markets. Otherwise if you are opposed to capitalism and free markets then I understand why you would have a negative view of "the corporate world". If you are a proponent of capitalism, then please expound on your negative view of the corporate world - I'm interested in hearing your views.

Thanks,
