Well, here goes...

First off I want to say that I am 150% Q so I guess that makes me part of the club. This morning while I was talking to one of my vendors (I'm not in telecom business), QCOM was brought up since she, her mother, and brother (who works there) all own QCOM. (Doesn't hurt to find more common ground when trying to get best pricing on things).

Her brother is not an executive, just part of engineering team. From what she tells me coming from her brother, the RUMOR around QCOM, RUMOR! RUMOR! RUMOR! is that handset division is being shopped around.

Now we've all heard this before but the way it came up in our conversation made it totally believable. The fact that she had no idea what the implications of that would be made the info seem pretty fresh and innocent.

Anyway, just thought the thread would like to know, and I want to STRESS that this is hearsay from a third person. I did not talk to the brother personally. Please don't get pissed at me for posting this, but I think it's relevant.
