GC, 90% of the time short covering is done where support becomes strong and is repeated as longs join.. it typically defines the rear heel of the support line.. sure, it might be temporary.. but we need a false upmove to encourage more selling and greater volume, dont you think? .. a ten point move failing at 170 seems insufficient to me to bring about more voluminous selling pressures

this gorilla is in no bigass hurry to rise and begin running again.. he gets up but rethinks that strategy when another snooze sounds better.. the longer we consolidate within the 160-170 range, the stronger the outbreak will be up or down.. my money is on up.. all trends point that way.. the shorterm trend is not down, rather sideways

psychologically, it goes "if shorts cover there, it must be a great place to buy, because those guys are smart enough to short a great stock & company"

I see you have shaved and got rid of the bottle.. sorry to seem so dismissive of your exhorts from out of the woodwork.. but they seem so shallow

Ok Mr gc,

You can't keep talking about Q breaking the 50 day MA without some time period. What is it? Next week? tomorrow? Next year?

Sooner or later you will be right, just like the bears for the last 5 years will be right one day, but their market crash day will still not make up for all the money they lost betting against the greatest bull market in history! Follow me?

Good luck!

MileHigh

gc-good luck with your shorts. I for one would never, ever short this company-would have gone for a dot com. But do us a favor-save your complete BS for Yahoo QCOM thread.
