Fred and Thread,

The SI EPS area has an estimate of 21 cents per share for Q3. Anyone besides me think that's a bit low, given all the design-in wins for SNDK. I think I'd guess about 23. I'm always the optimist on SNDK, but I was on target last quarter.

Other opinions welcome.

Jim

Fred,

Do you have an opinion as to whether SNDK will contract more capacity with an established FAB or whether they will "break the mold" and investment in a new, dedicated FAB???

The "tertiary" offering seems a bit shy of the $1.5 billion needed for a new foundry. Others have talked about converting an established foundry to suit SNDK's specific needs. But the notion of a wholly-owned FAB seems out of character for the SNDK business plan, that is, unless they are in the process of rewriting it.
