Well that is surprising to hear that rumor again. Also, we never really figured out what they are going to do with that 1 bil they are sitting on. Now if they sell that part of the company, that is more $.....what's with all the money?

Q fell upon news of handset margin erosion.. Q would rise upon handset div sale.. most likely a domestic buyer as you say for control and security reasons.. sale would enable QCOM mgmt to promote the standard without the perceived bias or conflict of interest in selling phones.. besides, next gen phone would break into ground beyond QCOM's engg expertise.. I mean wireless modems, microbrowsers, system sw integration, flash memory, micro busses, CPU
