Without level 2 the day trading scheme is impossible. I Tried to participate with AMPD by placing a limit buy order at 7 3/4 for the last 50 minutes of the day. It never came back. That's alright though because I would hate to have purchased at $9 or above and live thru tomorrow morning. Things we learn by not chasing!

Level II cost me much money B4 I finally figured out that my executions were so fast & I would get into a stock because of news and would bail because the stock did not move or even started to move against me, only to see the stock rise dramatically afterwards. The reason being that the execution time by most everyone else was way behind me, due to the discount brokers slow execution, etc. So let this be something to think about from my mistakes. Hey and I dealt thru a MM who went out on his own and he came and worked with me for 3 days.
