When semiconductor giant Intel Corp. (INTC) unveiled its new networking chip platform a week ago, one big question was who would use it. And now we have an answer: communications equipment maker Cabletron (CS). The company said Thursday night that it would collaborate with Intel's Level One division to develop faster networking products, using Intel's new Internet Exchange Architecture.
