As if Indians are dutifully paying their taxes. Hey, every year, the I-T department releases a list of the worst tax-offenders in India. Now, people in the US would think that the offenders ought to be ashamed. But in India, those named on the list are NOT ashamed. On the contrary, they are proud! It is a sort of "honor roll" out there.

A friend tells me that if the I-T guys raid a house, the "prestige" of the family living in the house goes up! I mean they break the law, then they are exposed, and their stature goes up?! Go figure.

Clinton warns Indonesia of "dire economic consequences"

dailynews.yahoo.com

This ought to be a lesson and a warning to the bigots of the RSS, VHP, Bajrang Dal etc. And also to those Indians who think the world of those outfits. If India ever dares to cross the LoC, it will face the same music as Indonesia (in addition to facing a nuclear first-strike from Pakistan).
