It's total crap. A dozen companies can do the exact same thing, and they all have many millions in the bank. These guys have no money. Contrary to their press release, they also have no patents assigned to them according to:
patents.ibm.com
This kind of hysteria is just a sign of the times. Lots of really stupid money chasing anything that moves. Sorry if that's not what you wanted to hear. Maybe someone else can find some merit, but not me.
How much does the system cost per site?
Who is a customer?
Where is the patent?
How do you market it with 37 employees?
How close is AMPD from not meeting NASDAQ listing requirements?
If 5 times the float traded today, where are the investors?

I remember there was a tiny company with supposed revolutionary high speed internet technology that had a short lived runup earlier in the year. But practically the next day, the company's press release declared no such thing, and it fell to earth.

Unfortunately I discarded the name. Anyone remember? Anyone? (Ben Stein's dad died yesterday.)
