Cramer is an absolute anti-AMD guy. From the record of his columns, when AMD stock went up he made a lot of gossip to AMD. For example, when AMD stock surged on August 6 and 9, he alleged that he was shorting AMD stock on August 10th (if he did, like he said, the AMD stock price was about $18.00. I suppose his shorting is about $18.00). Then AMD surged on September 6 and 7 again, he made another negative comment on September 8. What a coincident!
Keep in mind - he is the hedge fund manager. His fund often buys and sells securities that are the subject of his columns. He also has a lot of subscribers of TheStreet.com and I still believe his comment has undue influence upon AMD stock.

Best wishes

James
