Lorrie, I used the term a bit too loosely. It normally means that a broker, representing a client who wants to buy (or sell) a large block of shares in a company, privately finds sellers (or buyers). When the broker finds enough sellers (or buyers) to complete the transaction, the broker crosses the block on the floor of the exchange.

I don't know whether this took place with respect to the 250k share trade in FLC. I meant only that the trade came across the wire.
