Microsoft's auction site -- will be announced next week --
I worry about how Microsoft crushed price line -- when their auction site is announced will it hurt EBAY??

>>>>>

I dont think it will hurt EBay much if at all. Why? EBay has a strong community base of buyers and sellers, and while there are a flood of online auctions out there, traffic will always head to the largest most liquid market (EBay).

I don't think it will have any impact on Ebay. Volume speak for themselves. YHOO, AMZN and everyone else tried to take some business away from eBay. So far, not a blimp on the horizon. eBay dominates this market. People go where their products are more likely to sell, and where there is more choice.

Also, I think people have had enough of the Church of Gates...
