Chris, patent examiner, says possibly you could patent that as a process, but that getting a medical patent is a little harder because you have to file a declaration that it actually works. From what I've seen of those declarations, the Patent Office doesn't double-check to see if you're telling the truth. Although it is under the penalty of perjury, says Chris. Ask Bill Clinton what that is.
