Michael, the cyclicals are flying...the oil and gas subindex in toronto was up over 3 % today...many 52 week highs, base metals are doing well too, like inco... this is why i wonder if the dow will crack that much...losses in, oh, say ibm or hewlett may be somewhat offset by exxon and alcoa... i sold my jan 50 mu poots and my latest cheapo purchase of oct mu poots at very slight profits...the pos was down 2 or 3 bucks and i smelled a reversal...what a tough monkey to monkey with !!! i'm still thinking about the $ 87 scenario, but you haven't commented on it...is it irrelevant, or not 'doable' ? lol ike
