Question for anyone: How long does a refrac job typically increase production?

The reason I am asking is that, as someone predicted early this year, most of the small EnP's did lots of refracs to stimulate older wells. It usually worked, dramatically increasing production. How long will all that increased production last? Will these wells peter back out in the middle of the winter?

BTW watching the weather channel. Mid America gonna get blasted by Canadian air tonight. Floyd will become a Hurricane within 24 hours, but is still forecast to miss the Gulf.

JohnQPublic-They Missed Another Big Story! First, I agree on gas demand. I stick with my prediction of sustained NG prices this winter of $5.00/mcf; then they will tail off again in the Spring...

Yes! that is correct! We have an upside breakout in crude prices today, having now broken out of its last three and one-half year trading pattern. Hold your energy stocks...
