Friday September 10, 2:42 am Eastern Time Romania signs cooperation deal with GE Corp BUCHAREST, Sept 10 (Reuters) - The Romanian Development Agency (ARD), the government foreign investment promotion body, signed late on Thursday a cooperation deal with General Electric Co. to boost Romanian exports on GE's markets. "The accord involves $50 million and aims to promote industrial products and equipment as well as services on GE markets," Sorin Fodoreanu, ARD's president, told Reuters after the signing ceremony. Fodoreanu said services under the deal -- a part of GE investment pledges after the acquisition of 35 percent in commercial bank Banc Post -- included training in marketing and privatisation for Romanians.
