My take has been that weaker companies have blamed
y2k as causing their earnings shortfalls.

A few months ago the financial press chose Cap Gemini,
my employer, as "European Company of the Year". So...
capgemini.nl (scroll to the bottom).

By the way, we DO work very close together with Oracle.
For example, a few months ago we won a major tender
for KLM together with Oracle.

That was the exact same comment from CEO of Minnesota's largest software company a few months ago. Easy excuse, I guess.

2. $45 just now(^_^).
