Have you ever seen such rank speculation as is going on now?

In my relatively short experience, seems to happen shortly before a sharp correction.

Wexler refers to it as the 'flight to fantasy'.

I reckon it's all them folks who have too much money.

Not as good as AVCO last year. But the action and the ongoing CNBC hype was ridiculous. The warrant surged from 0 5/8 to 4.

Also chekc out Matritech (NMPS), it rose to 4 3/8 after market today, after a 2 5/8 close. The day before it closed at 0 25/32.

This was the NMPS news: biz.yahoo.com

Have you ever seen such rank speculation as is going on now? Look at the move in AMPD. 5 year's worth of gains in one afternoon. The feeding frenzy didn't even start until after lunch. My, my, my.

I enjoyed it. :-) Bought a few shares at 4-3/32 after seeing an "In Play" paragraph at Briefing.Com and got out about half an hour later at 6-5/32. Left thousands on the table as the stock continued on to 10, but work intruded and I didn't want to let a hype/momo sit in my portfolio when I couldn't watch it. Could have bought at 3-3/4 but I wanted to make sure it was starting to move before I bought it. This was a pure "throw money at what's moving" play. All I know about the company is that they have some lame wireless internet product that'll be release Real Soon Now and that it was being driven up by the momentum boys. I threw a little change and would have cut losses quickly if required.

And it was before lunch for me, in Arizona Mountain Standard Time.
