Slider, You're right on the money. I still see a few rigs stacked here and there in my travels, but there are no workers to man them.

I play on a non-pro hockey team and most of my teammates are os/energy industry types. My two buddies from majors confirmed at practice tonight that they too cannot find onshore rigs at least in our area of production.

So IMO service providers will fill their dance card the fastest (i.e. completions, acid jobs, fracs, etc.) then drilling tool companies, then drilling companies, and finally refurbishers

Slider, Just took a look at IIR's financials - incredible value there, man. I forgot about IIR because I thought I remembered reading that they got taken out. I guess not, didn't see anything on Yahoo news for as far back as they go. The stock is still trading.

Just look at the businesses they are in! Trading at book. Huge current ratio. Virtually NO lt debt. Oh hell, lets just say debt free. Boom 2000 earnings will go STRAIGHT to the bottom line. I smell market anomaly here.

The price action is utterly moribund. The co. puts out almost NO press releases. Is the problem here that nobody knows they exist or is there something else out there - not showing up on the balance sheet?

I put that last question to both you and the rest of the board.

TIA - Lets make money! <g>
