"The Earth's eco-system is not fragile." - it's not only sad that he's so deluded, he's dangerous. "The most beautiful thing about a tree is what you do with it after you cut it down." - do I really have to explain why I find that statement repugnant? "Women should not be allowed on juries where the accused is a stud."- This one explains why Rush is on his third wife. "Feminism was established as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society." - silly me. I thought that it had to do with suferage and the like. "Progress is not striving for economic justice or fairness, but economic growth." - Have we given up of such things as morality to get money? "Too many Americans can't laugh at themselves anymore." - and this coming from a guy who won't even take callers who aren't prescreened. I feel that this is sufficent to justify my statement. I am not "sad" that people disagree with me. I don't care if you consider me a "liberal numbskull." I find it sad that the place of the common good has been sacrificed to profit and personal gain. That is the real collapse of moral society.
