CSFB Strategist Picks Cos Benefiting From Global Rebound

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Investors should look to companies that are benefiting from the global rebound, said Christine Callies, chief investment strategist at Credit Suisse First Boston.

In a CNBC interview Thursday, Callies said she likes technology companies, particularly Dell Computer Corp. (DELL), which is gaining business in Asia, and Nortel Networks Corp. (NT). She also recommended truck-maker Navistar International Corp. (NAV).

Callies sees profits accelerating into early 2000, but warned that "valuations are a bit stretched."
