"Responsibility" implies obligation, and I would disagree with that. I don't think anyone should be held responsible for failing to call attention to a suspicious post. It may be a nice thing to do, and many of us have done it on occasion, but it is voluntary.

I would hate to see some lurking strike-suiter, after dropping a few bucks on a hyped stock, try to bring a claim against a "community of regulars" because those regulars didn't shout down the hypester. Ridiculous? Of course. But I've seen some pretty ridiculous things.
