My "short" is doing OK We all knew you are the process idiot. Now add this to your resume: investment idiot! Seriously, how much lower can AMD goes when it was $14ish? You kept beating the drums that AMD will head even lower. Did not you realize that AMD has a book value of more than several dollars then? Vantis worth about 1/2 billion. Flash alone can get at least $1 billion. So the 2 divisions are worth about $10. Maybe x86 unit gets a couple (humble estimate). Jerry's fleet of limo and communication get few pennies. You only left with a few pennies to gain. What kind of an idiot would take risk for a few pennies more? Note: you may have made a right choice shorting at $28. Holding firm at $14 is stupid. Maybe it is just dumb luck you had at $28.
