hi tim here is some info on a very interesting natural gas takeover play. the site is east lost hills nr bakersfield calif(prolific gas and oil area). nine existing partners 8 canadian and one american. background on this play can be found at www.elandjennings.com and on si at kob thread. here is the takeover lowdown. berkeley petroleum(bkp) is rumored to be buying out westminster resources(wml) in a straight stock swap with each wml share fetching 0.8bkp share. wml closed today at 7.80 up 1.20 today, bkp closed at 16.05 down.40 today. 80% is 12.84 at todays prices, deal rumored to be early next week.(prices in canadian dollars. nice premium on a short term play. i realize that many on this thread are heavily invested in cs and pios and knt. i am also. i just wanted to share this with the thread. my belief is that this is only the start of a number of takeovers as this play consists of 7 small or junior partners and two larger ones. if i can be of help to anyone please let me know. as always do your DD and good trading to everyone regards charlie
