I read your post and the re-post and although the theory is sound, I don't think the floor specialists is artificially keeping the stock at a sub $18 level. CS is trading in a range of $17 1/2 to $18 1/4 with just as much buying as selling going on each day. The problem is the lack of serious buying in the stock. With 174 million shares o/s, (149 float) we need some serious sustained buying to get the stock to move. 2 million shares per day is not going to do it.

I'm encouraged by the block trades but only a few are large enough to represent institutional buying. With all the good news about CS that has come out in the last 2 weeks, there's got to be a reason why we've hit a wall. When we find out why, then we will know what's going on with CS.
