AVNT is still subject to infringement after '94 "We are very pleased the Court has affirmed our right to pursue claims of copyright infringement -- which, in a recent press release, Avant virtually conceded they are likely to lose -- and seek what we believe will be significant and substantial monetary damages against Avant," commented Smith McKeithen, senior vice president and General Counsel at Cadence.
