This CDMA thing is getting interesting!

I am not suggesting anything about QCOM (hold not position in QCOM, couldn't care less how that stock does), but am suggesting that if Wilf can hit his proposed long term target of 50% market share as he stated in the last cc, it will do wonders to LSI's valuation.

Yes, CDMA is not as easy as it looks!

By the way, I doubt QCOM really 'welcomed' second sourcing - it's either second source or nobody adopts the standard. I know I won't if that was my business. Nothing like a total monopoly in making money the old fashion way ... Rockerfellows, etc. etc.

Very interesting development in the CDMA world... Qualcomm revokes VLSI/Phillips license for making CDMA chipsets... cuts down the potential suppliers to DSP, Prarie, LSI, and Qualcomm (MOT and Nokia are kind of unique...)
