Tim,

Thanks for sharing your research. I spent a few hours looking into it tonite. What sounds too good to be true may end up being just that. If the release were timed with a contract or two it may have a more credible appearance. I plan on following it because
if the technology can deliver what it claims it will be good news for consumers, line-of-sight limitations notwithstanding.

The 2Mbps data rate advertised in the AMPD news
release is nothing special for broadband wireless
equipment (CAMP, DMIC, and all MMDS/LMDS component
manufacturers make similar or higher performing
line of sight transmitters/receivers). The news
release was written to generate the maximum hype by
referring to 35 times dialup speeds.

The float is very small (2 million shares), which
will make AMPD tricky to short, but there is
really nothing that justifies a 25 times sales
valuation.
