Jeff and all, high P/E markets are less risky - argues Forbes columnist Ken Fisher.

not only have ultra-high-P/E years in America had better overall results than lower-P/E years, they have also never had disasters--not once has a Jan. 1 market P/E above 19 led to a double-digit loss that year or over the next two years. All big calendar-year busts followed a Jan. 1 P/E of less than 19.

Mr. Fisher's most recent column is worth reading, too.
It deals with the merits of investing in giants.
