Le Metropole members,

David Tice's commentary at Toulouse-Lautrec Table entitled,
" A History of Speculation."

"One thing is for certain, if Greenspan believes that stock prices
are reflecting "a discounted value of future expected returns,"
he is oblivious to how markets actually work.

Candidly, we suspect that he, in fact, hasn't much of a clue about how today's
stock market operates, with dominant roles played by short-term traders,
"gamesmen", derivative traders, mammoth institutional players and
huge company stock buyback programs."
