Agreed. If the numbers are friendly and obviously cooked, i will never short a stock again in my life, and i'll put every penny of my net worth into long shares and calls in technology stocks.

And i'm dead serious. Fighting a mania is one thing- but fighting a mania that has become official public policy at all costs is another.

And we all know the gov will bail us out when the bottom falls out.. Just like the savings and loan fiasco, the economic impact will be too damaging for our country to withstand. The fed will monetize the losses and return investors money. I can EASILY see forms where you fill out and provide proof of your entry price, and the government writes you a check to insure you get that amount back.
