First test of y2k is a non event. The 9999 phenonmenon has had zero impact on computers. There were no reports of any shutdowns even in the poorest of countries.
With GS and Chase sitting on the gold market, and a market that will not quit, the final glimmer of optimism for gold this year is going out.
