It's the mirror image of why diamond is so expensive but has no value in the basic survival of the humans. BTW, Futures are up 12.

<Boy, it just cracks me up how everyone excludes those two "minor" little components that make up such a little part of everyones' daily lives - food and energy :_)> Something else that should crack you up Benkea is that one of the big components that is helping drag down the core rate is falling PC prices. I find it ironic that the companies that build PC's and the ones that supply the components to them are going to see strong appreciation in there stock prices today due to the fact that the price of the product they produce is falling off a cliff.
