Oh, the idea would certainly work for the limited range cells I described but it's just that - an idea. One would need a lot of money just to provide the source and end user equipment necessary to set up and cover one single city. What's to prevent someone else from attempting it and remember that they could buy the amps from any one of a dozen or so manufacturers.

There are other issues involved here too. Not only would it be a very complicated matter trying to keep everyone's incoming and outgoing "requests" separated but that bandwidth is going to be divided between the number of subscribers currently "on the air" so to speak.

"By using roof top antennas, line of sight links up to 50 miles are possible. ISPs in metropolitan areas who have access to radio towers can offer multiple subscription service using this technology."

Of course it's possible, and of course ISPs can offer the product, even if it is old, someone else's and non-competitive. The questions are is it economically viable (no) and is it dependable and effecient? Can it compete with existing products? No. Can this company implement it? No. Do they own any proprietary technology in this space that matters? No, no, no, we know where this one's gonna go! A big zere oh!

This CNBC crap feminds me of when the SKYM guy RF'd his partners. He had it all lined up. He cut a buyout deal with hir partner before he told his partner that he was to be on CNBC. He then went on the show, got the stock up and used his options exercise money to buy out his partner.

Is this case, Mr. Bain clearly had his CNBC stuff lined up. But guess who the patsy is this time? A: The "investors" who bought this pig on the run up. What a bold faced liar this guy is.
