Doesn't matter who. Point is whether trades are at or near the bid price or the ask price. Even without speculating about accumulation rather dispersion (and just what do the "accumulaters" know that most don't), wouldn't you rather own a stock that other people tend to want to own rather than unload? In those simple terms, we now have enough people saying "looks good to me" to slightly more than offset the PP unloading. That's good because when the unloading is over we'll still have all the "buy" momentum without price being dragged down by these PP sellers. Suppose the sharks weren't here with their sell orders. The buyers come in saying "okay" to the ask price. Ask instantly begins to go up and we holders will say no to 6 or 7 cents. Closing at a dime says the sharks are gone. And a lot of us will say no at prices substantially higher.
