Clark: As usual, thanks. I have trouble enough lugging a dish of food around so don't want to lug a wireless input output dish. :-)

Point received. CDMA for mobile.

Now, CDMA seems to be very handy for WLL (wireless local loop) which I think qdog described as "semi- mobile". Are the CDMA advantages a little less strong in WLL or just as strong as "mobile"

Then we come to the big wireless pipes for massive data movement, (qdog territory), does CDMA have a role there at all - marginal - maybe - or what?

Thanks. Learning. This is an iterative process for me anyway.
