nihil, there's a difference between telling a lie and being wrong. For the sake of arguing this point, let's say you are right (strictly hypothetical here), but Michael and JLA BELIEVE you are wrong. This situation would not brand them liars, they would merely be incorrect. What if you're wrong about the PR prisoners? Would that mean you are a liar?

Whatever nihil, I can see your ego is not going to allow you to open your eyes. You're right, Bill is granting them clemency because of the moral struggle he has been waging over their imprisonment. <gg> Let's forget the fact that they didn't even ask for clemency, or the fact that he has only granted clemency to a hand-full of people out of thousands that have requested it during his term. And let's forget the fact that their is a large Puerto Rican voting block in N.Y. And let's forget the fact that Hillary has been crowned the Democratic front runner in the next Senate election there. Yes, nihil, let's forget all of that..... By the way, I've got some starbucks coffee warming. Perhaps you need to get a good wiff of some. :-) The only problem the liberals in N.Y. who made this decision miscalculated, was that most Puerto Ricans are not a bunch of criminals. So they're against the release just like most Americans are. So now the the administration is trying to tap-dance their way out of this one. Quite amusing seeing the libs twist themselves into a knot like this. But hey, they have a great mind like yours defending them so it should work out just fine. :-) Michael
